Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was spacious and very comfortable, with clean and quiet rooms. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom was of very good size. However, the room felt old-fashioned and enclosed with the colors. The food offered was basic hotel food.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location was stunning, overlooking the loch and mountains, and it was ideal for a stopover during my Scotland tour. The rooms had their own balcony with beautiful views, but they could do with some soundproofing as noises from neighboring rooms were quite noticeable. The dining experience offered a superb view of the lake and hills, although being asked to book a slot caused a delay in breakfast. Overall, a great value for money option near Fort William.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, located right on the loch side with stunning views and close to the town center. The rooms were large and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking in Glen Nevis. While I loved the tartan decoration, I did feel that the bathroom and bedroom could use a bit of modernization. The price for the room was reasonable, but the room being positioned near a large rock made it a bit dark, necessitating the light to be on during the stay.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room had a good view over the loch, was spacious, clean, and tidy, with all the amenities we needed. However, being at the back of the hotel made it very dark at times. The location was fantastic, directly opposite the loch, offering stunning views and easy access to everything the highlands have to offer. Dining was a great positive surprise with plenty to choose from and a delicious meal one evening, though considering the price, a bit better was expected. Overall, a great experience with some minor drawbacks.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, with lovely rooms and breathtaking views of the loch. The service was exceptional, although there were some issues with the tea service. The location was fantastic, overlooking the water and hills. Dining was delightful, with tasty meals. Overall, a great experience with a few minor hiccups.
The hotel offers stunning views of the Loch, with comfortable and accessible rooms, and fantastic dining experience. However, it is a bit far from the town center. The location is excellent for exploring the surrounding areas.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, with a balcony offering stunning views over the loch, were a highlight, but they could definitely benefit from an update. Despite being a group of pensioners, we were assigned a family room with bunk beds, which was not ideal. The location on the main Achintore Road was convenient for exploring the surrounding area, but there was a lack of sofas or reclining chairs in the room. The dining experience, while feeling a bit pre-cooked, did offer some nice views of the loch.
My stay at the hotel was superb! The rooms were warm and dog-friendly, with excellent staff and delicious food. The views from the dining room overlooking the loch were breathtaking. However, the house next door was a bit stuffy.
The hotel offers comfortable and clean rooms with a partial view at the back. The service is friendly, and the location provides a superb view from the front of the hotel, though some transport to Fort William in the evenings would be helpful. The dining experience varies, with fresh and nice options but occasional use of poor-quality produce. Overall, a good choice for an overnight stay with first-class breakfast and facilities.
